We regret to confirm that a glorious weekend has been tainted by tragedy as we are learning that our newest AITC Adventure Editor, Bjorn Toby-Wilde, is missing and presumed dead after failing to clear the Snake River Canyon in a homemade replica of the "Pope Mobile." Wilde had spent months of meticulous planning constructing the crude replica of the Pope Mobile that would allow him to pay glorious tribute to the beatification of departed Pope John Paul II, which will be celebrated tomorrow at the Vatican. Witnesses report that although wind was definitely a contributing factor, Wilde just didn't have enough horsepower even under ideal conditions, and missed clearing the 1/4 mile chasm by roughly...well, 1/4 mile.
