African Union: Muammar Gaddafi Willing Ceasefire

The delegation leaders at the African Union (UA) on Sunday claimed that the Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi, agreed on the draft cease-fire with the rebels. Moammar Gaddafi and UA delegation met in Tripoli a few hours after the NATO-led coalition forces demolish a number of tanks Gaddafi forces, thus helping the rebel troop movements.

According to news agency Associated Press (AP), African Union delegation was led by President of South Africa, Jacob Zuma. Together with the leaders of Mali and Mauritius, Jacob Zuma met with Moammar Gaddafi to convince him to take immediate cease-fire with rebels to end the violence in Libya.

Zuma satisfied with Gaddafi's willingness for a ceasefire, which was designed UA. "We have completed our mission with the brother leader [Khadafi], and the brother leader of the delegation had received a road map that we asked," said Jacob Zuma.
