I suffer from chair envy.
One day my family counted all the chairs
(mostly antique) I had accumulated.
The number was something like 88!
Yet I feel no shame.
Some were rescued from the curb!
Perfectly good, honest, solid, chairs who just
need a good scrub, some white paint,
and an owner who adores them.
So fixated on modern ghost chairs lately,
I almost forgot how much I love these
classic, outdoorsy, durable, Tolix metal chairs
from France.
Now that it's spring, they're showing up
on every other page of my decor zines.
