Carl Larsson
One of my favorite artists!
Carl Larsson's watercolors and Scandanavian influence
were everywhere in my childhood home,
and I grew up gazing at his Swedish interiors
depicted in so many lovely paintings.
I own a large print of the first image
which features his children on Christmas morning,
and in person, the little touches of aqua
in combination with the taupe, black, and red are pure magic.
My mother has collected so much of his work that
it is surprising to find an image on the web NEW to me
for introducing me to the 3rd image above!).
