Yep, scarlet fever got us. After some research and talking to the doctors and nurses it actually is not as bad as I had thought. rheumatic fever is the one to fear. Scarlet fever is just a different variation on strep throat. And the doc pointed out, since she has the scarlet fever rash they know it is strep and do not even have to do the culture. Which is awesome because that is like the worst part of strep.
Audge is safe because she's been on antibiotics since Monday for her ears. When this week is all done, we will have had a total of 3 doctors visits.
